dog the bounty hunter
by BR25 ini wanted to know everyones opinion on him losing his show and his comments.. first of all i do think his comments warrant the cancellation of his show, but it should have never got that far.
when you are talking with family it should never leave the house.
it should stay behind closed doors.

He will be back and sooner then later. His show was one of the top rated on A&E and after some apologizing and jumping through some PC hoops another network will by the licensing rights. He will get a new contract and it will be business as usual, just like Imus, Mel Gibson and Michael Richards. Money makes more noise then offensive words ever will.
Ain't THAT the truth. In fact, money is made WHEN offensive words are used - just look at the career of Al Sharpton. btw, I miss Al in the Democratic debate. Four years ago, he's what made me tune in.

I've watched the show. Hawaii is very multi-cultural and he's never appeared to be racist. I just don't think he's ever "grown-up" in the area of letting his mouth run free. Granted, he's in a business where sometimes strong words are needed to get the attention with those you're dealing with, I can understand that, but he needs to choose those words. It's hard to believe that someone who is in so much fear of losing everything if his crude N-bomb remarks went public wouldn't stopped using the word long ago, especially after getting a TV show and after the Imus incident. It just shows poor judgement to risk everything because you haven't grown -up and consciencely made better choices. Life's lessons can be very bitter if not learned early. The more information that's coming out makes me believe he was really set up. With family like that, more of a reason to have stopped using the word long ago.

Four guys go to work yesterday...
by frozen one ini'm a construction foreman.
occasionally the work i have my crew perform involves entering what is called a "confined space" or a space that doesn't have ventilation such as a sewer manhole or other type of vault.
the lack of ventilation may cause explosive or poisonous gases to accumulate or deplete the oxygen level.

This is very sad.... and it isn't the first time it's happen. Someone going after someone who needs help, then another, then another. Very tragic for the families. Where did this happen?

The kids had a great time and have even shared some of their 'takings' with me (arbeit with the prefix "Here dad, I don't like these ones ... so you can have them")
lol... that's typical. Just hold on to the 'lame' pieces for a few weeks until their stash runs out.... they'll be so sugar dependent they'll take anything. good to hear you're having fun.

You can dress it up and make it look fancy with words such as 'power' but that's the basic belief, and that's all I (or rather the article) was pointing out.
You can diss it, dismiss it, put it down, deny it, fry it, whatever floats your boat. My fancy word 'power' has nothing to do with anything in that "enlighting" (not) article. The power I speak of is that which is real and which has been personally experienced. I can totally understand if one has not personally experienced something to be real why they would think others are deluded when they try to explain or defend their experience. I've never felt the need to explain or defend what I know is profound. My take on others beliefs are -"whatever".
